ACTS

Solo Shows

I offer a flexible choice of shows/performances to suit most events and venues.
Solo shows using quality backing support tracks, recorded in my own studio, which produce the sound of a complete band when combined with my live guitar and vocal performance. I can provide up to 4 hours of non stop music (subject to an essential break for nature) from most era’s and styles (excluding country).
There are approximately 300 tracks to choose from (increasing daily) from a ballad by Lionel Richie to Queens Bohemian Rhapsody (possibly the only solo act to attempt this iconic anthem).
From background instrumentals to a full on concert, and a very popular “Secrets of a Session Musician” where I perform songs that I played on originally with stories of how they evolved.

Duo

An ideal act for corporate events or weddings!
For this act I team up with the fabulous Vicky Reyes, an established vocalist/keyboard player to expand the shows repertoire for any event needs. From quiet background music, a concert style show, concluding with a wide range of dance music to top any party atmosphere.
For each act I use top quality Yamaha sound system and an array of lighting.
Please see the list of available songs below. (increasing daily)

Bands

Having played in many bands over the years, I have many friends in the industry who I love to play with. I have my regular band, a 6 piece, capable of almost any style of music, from the Carpenters to Led Zepplin with great accuracy.
Owing to the nature of the business, any bookings for the band would need to be well in advance of the event to ensure availability. Please send an enquiry e mail.

Build your own playlist

As music tastes vary so much, I thought it would be a good idea to offer clients their own playlist from the songs listed. This would guarantee a successful event. If there are songs you would like played, especially wedding first dances etc, please feel free to request them, and as long as there is enough time, I can prepare them.
Please browse all the categories below for a complete list of songs available which is being added to daily.

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING?

Barry entertained a packed house, a good time had by all of the estimated 120 people. Barry put on a fantastic performance of blues and rock and a wide variety of styles to please everyone.

“The band “Snakebite” with frontman, guitarist, singer, Barry Stewart, Brought a refreshing new concept in music to the venue, with a blend of songs from more obscure rock bands like Wishbone Ash, Muse, Focus and many more, creating a more interesting mix for the over 200 audience. These songs provided the prefect platform for Barry to show his unquestionable guitar skills, inspiring the many wannabe guitarists in the audience, showing such skills that many can only dream of “ .

We have seen Barry on numerous occasions and are mesmerized by his unequaled guitar skills. His versatility is amazing, from easy listening, to popular sing along’s, and rock anthems such as “Bohemian Rhapsody”. His crowd skills are great and stories behind the session musician scene’s are very interesting and amusing ! a brilliant evenings entertainment and one will will continue to attend whenever possible.
